Vertical wet pit pumps

Vertical wet pit pumps are intended for use in the pumping applications to pump clean or lightly contaminated liquids. The pumping head is suspended into the pumped liquid and the drive motor is dry installed on the top. The pump has common discharge / support column. The vertical wet pit pump has a vertical line shaft with the slide bearings typically lubricated by the pumped liquid.

The SJD (API) are ISO 13709/API 610 Type VS1 and VS6 pumps whose design has evolved from many years of experience. They utilize Sulzer’s low Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) 1st stage, followed by unique high head per stage series hydraulics, to minimize the number of stages required.

SJD (CEP) vertical multistage can condensate extraction pump

SJP vertical propeller pumps are typically used to pump large flows of water upward at low head from open water sources such as oceans, rivers, lakes, cooling ponds, tanks and sumps.

SJT (Geo) for geothermal production hot water

Sulzer SJT (Geo) are designed for geothermal production in shallow wells. The pump can be adapted to the optimum length to pump hot water at the needed output flow.

SJT/SJM CWP vertical cooling water pump

The SJT/SJM CWP are “engineered to order” large flow vertical pumps for industrial pumping needs and sump design, with semi-open or closed cast impellers available in sizes starting from 650 mm (26″) impeller diameter and nq 75 (Ns 3’870).

SJS submersible pump

The SJS submersible pumps utilize a submersible motor to drive the Sulzer vertical pump stages. The normal vertical turbine lineshaft and bearings are thus eliminated and power levels to 2 MW (2,700 hp).

SJT vertical turbine pump

SJT pumps are typically used whenever a liquid needs to be pumped upward from ground water tables (deep well pumps), manmade underground storage (caverns) or open bodies of liquid. Fully updated hydraulics and mechanical designs make the SJT highly efficient, cost- effective, and low-maintenance.

STR pumps are engineered-to-order pumps able to provide good reliability during continuous operation. The STR Vertical Turbine Pumps have been designed to handle clear or slightly polluted fluids in water and industrial applications.

VEY and VNY molten salt pump for concentrated solar power

The VEY and VNY are vertical mixed-flow molten salt pumps with high capacity and medium to high head. Its design includes hydraulics from proven ranges. These pumps have been engineered to balance high efficiency, low submergence, net positive suction head required (NPSHR) considerations, long lifetime and reliability as required for concentrated solar power.
